Arthur Elbert Harmon, 82, KB7WVI, of West Valley City, UT, father and grandfather has joined his eternal mate Ruth C. Harmon on June 6, 2009. He was a simple man who loved to hear and tell stories.

He was born in Price, UT, attended East High and LDS Business College.

He served his country during World War II and continued his civil service at Hill AFB for 42 years. Then he drove for nine years for Lewis Brother Stages before retiring. He was an avid Ham Radio operator.

He is survived by his three children Sally Goodall, Friendswood, TX; Ned (Libbie) Harmon, West Valley City, UT, with whom he resided; and Nancy (Thomas) Olsen, Murray, UT. He has 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at Russon Brothers Salt Lake Mortuary, 255 South 200 East.
Interment will be held in the Castle Dale Utah City Cemetery at 3:00 p.m.
