Mazel Harmon Parrent was born January 16, 1916 in Price, Utah and passed away January 10, 2004 in Fresno, California. She was the fourth child born to Melvin Thomas & Sarah Horsley Harmon. How she got her name was M for aunt Margaret on her mothers side, A for Grandma Almira on her fathers side, Z for aunt Zelma on her fathers side, E for aunt Enid on her fathers side and Elizabeth on her mothers side, L for aunt Lydia and Laura on her mothers side and Lora on her fathers side. She grew up in Price, Utah later moving to Salt Lake City. She married Wesley Henry Parrent on September 30, 1954 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She had one daughter, Linda Sue Parrent Spjute. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Melvin Myron Harmon, Myrtice Harmon vacarro, Leland Elroy Harmon, and Grace Harmon Fry.
Grace was survived by her husband Wesley, daughter Linda, son in law Randy Richardson, and grandchildren Aaron Alex Ashley, Adrienne, Adam and Alan. She is also survived by her siblings Gerald Leo Harmon Bessie Jewett Richardson and Arthur Elbert Harmon. She is buried in the Mountain View Cemetery in Sandy, Utah
