Dead at 91

POTSDAM - James P Regan, 91, of 4 1/2 Clinton St. retired farmer, died Sunday at the Potsdam Nursing Home, where he had been a resident two years.

The funeral will be Tuesday at 9 am at the Garner Funeral Home and at 9:30 am at St. Mary's Church, Rt. Rev. Msgr. F. P. Devan officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Friends may call this afternoon and evening at the funeral home.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Philip (Marian) Barisciano, Staten Island; two sisters, Miss Mary C Regan and Mrs. Theresa Auchincloss, both of Potsdam; a brother Michael, Lockport; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Born March 30, 1879 at South Colton, a son of John and Mary Ward Regan, moved to Potsdam when he was young and was educated in Potsdam schools. He was twice married. His first wife, Mrs. Bertha Fisher Regan died years ago. He later married Elizabeth Critten, who died in 1963.
