The 1915 Kansas census lists Nerva living at home and teaching school.
She married Grover Cleveland Jones, the son of Dorothy J. (Ritson) and Samuel A. Jones, on November 15, 1916. They had two children, both born in Lamar, Colorado. Nerva and Grover owned and managed Green Mountain Dairy delivery service, Golden Arrow Motor Court, and a filling station in Lamar until the dust storms affected the health of their children. They were among the many people who immigrated to California to escape the blinding, blowing dirt.
Nerva Ross Jones lived to be 106 years old.
