Services for Agnes Lee Shakespeare, 87, of Levelland will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Geo C. Price Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Merle Fulmer officiating.
Burial will follow in the Morton Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Geo. C. Price Funeral Directors.
She died Sunday, Aug. 1, 1999, at St. Mary Plaza in Lubbock.
She was born Feb. 28, 1912, in Colmesneil. She moved to Levelland in January 1968 from Morton. She married H.C. Shakespeare on July 5, 1930. He died in 1976. She was a dietician at Cook Memorial Hospital for 30 years.
She was a member of Fifth Street Baptist Church in Levelland. She had been active in Rebekah Lodge in Morton prior to moving to Levelland.
Survivors include two sons, H.L. Shakespeare of Levelland and Jimmy Ray Shakespeare of Odessa; four daughters, Jean Wright of Odessa, Sammie Baker of Morton, Bootsye Barnes and Barbara Autry, both of Levelland; two sisters, Myrtle Lilljedahl of Conroe and Essie Rawls of Denton; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
