GEORGIA C. HAMLIN
Georgia Collins Hamlin, 81,
of Chesterville, died early
Thursday morning at the
Farmington Memorial Hospital,
Farmington following a long
illness.
Born Feb. 8, 1900 in Mercer,
the daughter of Elmer and
Annette Chapman Collins. She
was educated in Mercer
school system and at the age
of 19 married George F,
Hamlin in Farmington Mr.
Hamlin died in 1959. Mrs.
Hamlin worked for some 16
years for the Maine Dowel
Corporation of Farmington
and belonged to the Church of
the Nazarene in Farmington
Falls.
She os survived by one son.
Erland F. of Chesrerville; a
daughter, Mrs. V. Lucile
Smith of Chesterville; one
sister, Mrs. Alma Clements of
Chesterville; five grand-
children; and nine great-
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held
at 2 p.m. Saturday from the
Nazarene Church in
Farmington Falls, the Rev.
Daniel Joyce officiating.
Interment later in the spring
will bbe in Chesterville Hill
Cemetery, Chesterville.
