ELMER E. COLLINS
Elmer E. Collins died at his home
in Chesterville, June 19, after a long
illness. He was born in Starks, June
13, 1861, an married Annette Chap-
man, who died many years ago, leav-
ing eight children. He was married
four times, his last wife, formerly Ella
Lake, surviving him. He leaves three
sons, Walter Collins of Merrimac,
Mass., William Collins of Farmington
Falls, and Robert Collins, Rangeley,
five daughters, Mes Bessie Decker
and Mrs. Ella Pressey of Farmington
Falls, Mrs. Alma Clements, Chester-
ville, Mrs. Alice Hall and Mrs. George
Hamlin of Farmington Falls 26
grandchildren, four great grandchil-
dren, and three brothers, George Col-
lins, Wilton; Samuel Collins of Mas-
sachusetts and Hinkley Collins, Farm-
ington Falls.
Mr. Collins was a farmer and lived
in Mercer for many years, moving to
Chesterville about seven years ago.
He was a kind and loving husband and
father, loved by all who knew him and
will be greatly missed. Funeral ser-
vice was held Sunday at the Union
Church in Chesterville, conducted by
Rev. A. G. Henderson of Farmington.
W. Raymond Davis of Farmington
sang Haven of Rest and Safe in the
Arms of Jesus. There were many
beautiful flowers. Burial was in
the Lumbard Cemetery at Mercer.
