FARMINGTON FALLS --
Walter B. Collins, retired lum-
berman and retired member of
the fire department here, died
Sunday morning at the home
of a nephew, Arthur Decker,
here following a brief illness.
A resident of this Franklin
County community the past 60
years he was 85 years old.
A Mercer native, he was
born Oct 12, 1885, son of the
late Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Col-
lins.
Surviving are his widow,
Grace of Merrimack, Mass; a
brother, Will of town; three sis-
ters, Mrs. Alice Hall of Mait-
land, Fla., Mrs. Georgie Ham-
lin and Mrs. Alma Clements,
both of town.
Survices will be held at 2
p.m. Tuesday at Adams Funer-
al Home. 3 Court St., Farm-
ington, where friends may call
from 6 to 8 this evening.
