Mrs. Lena Bader Is Taken by Death
Mrs. Lena Bader, Colorado Springs resident 22 years, died Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bertha Ingalls, 802 E. Cimarron St. Mrs. Bader was born in Patterson N.J., and came west with her parents when she was a young girl. In 1886 she married Otto A. Bader at Millard, Nebr. They moved to Oklahoma and in 1917 moved to eastern Colorado. She came to Colorado Springs 22 years ago. She was a member of the First Christian church here. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Phelps, Siloam Springs, Ark.; Mrs. Anna McCommon, Whittier, Calif.; Mrs. Ingalls and Mrs. Olive Ledford, Colorado Springs, and Mrs. Verna Garrett, Webster Groves, MO.; two sons, A.O. Bader, Longmont; F.A. Bader, Boulder; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Law mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
