Siloam Springs – Mrs. Elizabeth Phelps, 76, died Thursday night in a local nursing home. She was born Dec. 28, 1886, in Newman Grove, Neb., and was a resident of Siloam Springs for 39 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church. Survivors include one son, Wallace, of Hayward, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Ruby Moss of Siloam Springs; two brothers, A.O. Bader of Longmont, Colo., and Fred Bader of Boulder, Col., three sisters, Mrs. Anna McCommon of Whittier, Calif., Mrs. C.E. Ingalls of Colorado Springs, and Mrs. W.A. Garrett of Kansas City, Kan. Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Pyeatte Chapel. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Pyeatte Funeral Services. MARRIED-At the home of the brides parents 5 miles north of Putnam Wednesday Feb 22, Mr. Roy Phelps and Miss Barbara Bader. Both of the contracting parties are well and favorably known here. They will make their home of the Jean Sorter place northwest of here on the river.
