Mr. James Tolbert, formerly of St. Clair County, died at the residence of George Gargus on Route 2, Oneonta, May 29th, from consumption, aged 64 years. The deceased was a good citizen, neighbor and Christian gentleman. He is survived by four sons and two daughters. Funeral services were conducted by Revs. A.J. Brand and W.J. Wilemon, interment at Foster's Chapel Cemetery.
