William Monroe Tolbert, 76, passed away Monday April 7, at his home on Rt. 4, Oneonta. A farmer, he was the son of the late James and Martha Wilemon Tolbert. Surviving are three brothers, John Tolbert of R. 4, Oneonta, Minor and Worth Tolbert of R. $ Oneonta, one sister, Mrs. Etta Gargus, R. 4, Oneonta.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at Mr. Carmel, Revs. Herbert Moorer, Elmer Dempsey, and Carl Payne officiating. Interment was in adjoining cemetery, Lemley Funeral Chapel directing.
