Funeral services for the late Mary Etta Vineyard, who died at the Gila general hospital Sunday, were held from the chapel of the Jones Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. Burial was in Globe cemetery.
The Rev. Burl L. Long, pastor of St. Paul's Methodist Church conducted the services. Mrs. George Legters, accompanied by Mrs. Tom Clemo, organist, sang appropriate hymns.
Pall bearers were Roy Tucker, Wm. Lee, Alfred Devore, Verne Gillette, A.C. Webb, S.B. Edwards.
Born in Coleman county, Texas, June 10, 1899, Mrs. Vineyard had been a resident of Gila county for 33 years.
She is survived by a son, Marion Mann of Young, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.M. Grantham, Globe, five brothers, and six sisters, who are Tom and R.M., Globe; Levi, Young; Robert, Winslow; Andrew, Trinidad, Colo.; Almeda Lee Gibson and Lillie Brown, Young; Winifred Turner, Globe; Elizabeth Carney, Tempe; Belle and Jane Conway, Mesa.
