He formerly lived in Florence where he was a guard at Arizona State Prison. He is survived by his wife, Mary T. of Mesa; four sons, Lewis, Woody, Sherrick and Tanner, all of Mesa; three brothers, R. M. of Globe, Bob of Young; one brother out of state; four sisters, Mrs. Jane Conway of Payson; Mrs. Allillee Gibson of Tempe; Mrs. Belle Farnsworth of Sunflower; and one sister out of state.
