She was born in Towash, Tex. on April 6, 1868, was a resident of Gila County for 45 years, and died in a rest home in Phoenix on Jun 2, 1955. She was laid to rest next to her late husband, Rufus Grantham. She was survived by five sons, Tom, Andy, R.M., Levi and Bob; five daughters, Mrs. Jane Conway, Mrs. Addie Bell Conway, Mrs. Almeda Lee Gibson, Mrs. Elizabeth Carney, and Mrs. Winifred Irene Wayland.
