Announcement is being made here of the marriage of Miss Winnifred Grantham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Grantham of Indian Springs, to W. E. Turner of Young. The marriage took place in Phoenix the past week. Mr. Turner, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Turner, has grown to manhood here, being graduated from local schools. Both Mr. and Mrs. Turner are popular with the younger set here.

Services for Winifred Irene Wayland, 73, who came to Arizona in 1911 and had been a cosmetologist and beautician, will be 2 p.m. today in Tempe Mortuary, 405 E. Southern. Mrs. Wayland, of Salome, died Nov. 26, 1979, in a Phoenix hospital. She lived in the Tonto Basin until 1943. Surviving are her husband, Frank; daughter, Connie McMehen; two grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers.
