Funeral services for the late Samuel Edward Mann were held from the Jones Chapel Wednesday afternoon, May 28 at 3 o'clock. The Rev. Clarence W. Ollson, pastor of the Immanuel Southern Baptist Church conducted the services. Burial was in Globe Cemetery.
Born in Texas Sept. 2, 1882, Mr. Mann came to Arizona 31 years ago, having lived at Tonto Basin for several years, coming to Globe a few months ago to work, where he died May 26 at the Gila General Hospital following a short illness.
He is survived by a son, Marion Mann, employed at the Q Ranch near Young; and three brothers and two sisters in Texas.
