Noah Brubaker, son of Abram and Elizabeth Brubaker, was born in Fairfield county, Ohio on June 26th, 1824 and departed this life on July 14, 1914, aged 90 yers and 28 days. He came to Marion County, Illinois with his father's family in 1842. They located in Stevenson Township where he resided until his death.
On December 7th, 1848 he was married to Catherine Hite, daughter of Andrew and Catherine Hite of Summit Prairie. To them were born 12 children, 10 of whom are living. He leaves 50 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.
He was the last of his father's immediate family to cross to the Beyond. His wife, with whom he celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary, preceded him a few years ago.
