Clarita Braun, 89, Victoria, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, at St. John's Health Care Center, Victoria.
She was born Sept. 23, 1918, in Antonino to Peter P. and Mary (Klaus) Rohr.
She married Wendelin A. Braun on Oct. 13, 1936, in Vincent. He preceded her in death Feb. 1, 1997. She was a homemaker and a housekeeper in Victoria and Hays area for many years.
She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, and St. Boniface Christian Mothers, both of Vincent. She was a resident of St. John's Victoria, for seven years.
Survivors include a son, LaVern J. Braun and wife, Darlene, Victoria; three daughters, Doris Robben, Louise Robben and Rosie Dinkel, all of Victoria; four brothers, Alfred "Fritz" Rohr, Victoria, Nick Rohr and wife, Martina, Gorham, Victor Rohr and wife, Ruth, Ellsworth and Alvin Rohr and wife, Cleo, El Dorado; 17 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and two step-great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Cyril Rohr and Robert Rohr; four sisters, Odilla Rohr, Clementine Braun, Agnes Gross and Philomena Braun; and three son-in-laws, Donald Dinkel, Kenneth Robben and Charles Robben.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria; burial in St. Boniface Cemetery,Vincent.
