KALTREIDER – On November 14, 1976, at 12:15 a.m., at Memorial Osteopathic Hospital, Florence V. Grote Kaltreider, widow of Adam Kaltreider, Spring Grove RD 2, aged 78 years, 8 months, 24 days.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Jacob's (Stone) Church. Interment in adjoining cemetery.
Friends may call at the Geiple Funeral Home, Glen Rock, Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 and at the church Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.

Mrs. Florence V. Kaltreider

SPRING GROVE - Mrs. Florence V. Grote Kaltreider, 78, of Spring Grove RD 2, wife of the late Adam Kaltreider, who had painted many Pennsylvania Dutch settings as a hobby, died Sunday at 12:15 a.m. at Memorial Osteopathic Hospital, York, where she was a patient one day.
Mrs. Kaltreider, a resident three months at Barley Convalescent Home, East, previously resided with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Norman S. Rohrbaugh, Spring Grove RD 2.
A native of Manheim Township, she was a daughter of the late Charles A. and Saranda Sterner Grote, and belonged to the United Church of Christ Congregation at St. Jacob's (Stone) Union Church and of its Sunday School. She had been a member of the church choir for 50 years.
Her memberships included Hanover Chapter 669, American Association of Retired Persons, and the Lay Life Group and Retirees Community Club of St. Jacob's.
Also surviving are: Two other children, LeRoy L. Kaltreider, Jefferson; Ralph E. Kaltreider, Spring Grove RD 1; four grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; two brothers, Harvey Grote, Hanover RD, and Albert E. Grote, Jefferson, and a sister, Mrs. Lizzie A. Miller, Jefferson.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Jacob's (Stone) Union Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Glenn Flinchbaugh, her minister, assisted by the Rev. Richard Weaver, the Rev. Donald Mummert and the Rev. Luther Heist Jr. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Family suggested that memorials may be made to the United Church of Christ Memorial Fund or to York County Cancer Society.
