McCoy E. (Coy) Creel Died at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, 1977, at Lane Memorial Hospital, Zachary. He was 60, a native of Centerville, Ala., and a resident of Baker. He was an operator at Red Stick Gravel Co. and a veteran of World War II. Body at Hollabaugh-Spindle's Wooddale Memorial Chapel with visiting from 8 a.m. until services. Religious services at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Joe Hammack. Burial in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. Survived by his wife, Mrs. Minnie Noble Creel, Baker; two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Compton, Walker, and Miss Amy Gay Creel, Baker; three sons, Jackson L. Creel and McCoy Creel Jr., both of Walker, and Kenneth Michael Creel, Denham Springs; one sister Mrs. Grace Young, Baton Rouge; three brothers, T.C. Creel, Watson, Herbert Creel, Baker, and Carver Creel, Baywood, a number of grandchildren; one great-grandchild. He was a member of the Teamsters Local No. 5.
