Our community was indeed grieved when they heard of the death of Wm. Johns baby boy by drowning. The little fellow fell off the upper end of the bridge on a large canal on the Stoner ranch at Cokeville.
Very impressive services were held in Cokeville Sunday morning, and in Smoot Monday at 2:00 p.m. All speakers gave very comforting and encouraging remarks to the bereaved parents. The singing was also appreciated.
Among the relatives present were Mr and Mrs Warren Staley and Miss Leona Staley of Salt Lake City, Mr and Mrs Roy Eskelson of Richmond, Utah and many other for the valley.
Interment took place in the Fairview cemetery.
