EDWIN BALDWIN DIES AT ELMER
---Funeral services for Edwin Everett Baldwin, 96, of Elmer, Mo., were held Friday afternoon at the Community Baptist Church, three miles east of Atlanta, Mo. Services were conducted by the Rev. C. W. Hancock, pastor of the Assembly of God Church at Fayette, Mo., while special music was furnished by a trio from the Christian Church, of Elmer, Mo.
---Edwin Everett Baldwin, son of Alanson and Mary Miller Baldwin, was born June 22, 1855, at Guysville, Ohio., and died Nov. 8, 1950 at the home in Elmer, Mo., after a brief illness, at the age of 95 years four months and 17 days.
---At the age of 18 years he came to Missouri where he lived for 66 years on a farm in the Bear Creek community.
---In 1876 he was united in marriage to Miss Eva Shoemaker who preceded him in death.
---In 1883 he was married to Miss Anna Bromley who died in 1941.
---To their union were born 11 children. Surviving are: Mary Vose of Atlanta, William of La Crosse, Mabel Thompson of Kansas City, Mo., Lena Williams of Elmer, Edith Young of La Plata, Charles of Kansas City and Olin of Vinton, Ia.
---James, Alice Wilhite, Esther Redman and Ada preceded their father in death.
---When a young man Mr. Baldwin was a converted in a Methodist Church. In 1922 he united with the Assembly of God Church at Bear Creek, where he remained a faithful member until his death.
---He lived near his twin brother, Edward Egbert, who also preceded him in death.
---The survivors include seven children, 21 grandchildren, and 33 great grandchildren. He also leaves many friends.

Edwin married his first wife, Evangeline "Eva" Shoemaker, in 1876. They had one daughter: Pearl Baldwin.

Edwin married his second wife, Annie Sarah Stevens Bromley, on Dec. 22, 1883 and they had eleven children all linked below.
