Alexander Selkirk "Sandy" Cross died November 20th in Memorial Hospital in Douglas, Wyoming. Sandy, whose twin brother, Robert, lost his life in World War I, was born June 8th, 1894 and was educated in local schools and Regis College, Denver, Colorado. Sandy was a rancher especially interested in raising Shorthorn cattle that won many prizes in state and national livestock shows. He was cited, several years back by the Omaha Chamber of Commerce for fifty years of patronage of that market. He leaves to grieve his loss, his wife Minna, his daughters Dorothy Cross and Elsie Deininger of the family home, Margaret Gardiner, Aurora, Colo.; Frances Wittenberg, Hot Springs, So. Dak.; two brothers, William and George; four sisters, Mary Williams and Alzire Cross of Douglas, Mrs. Edwin Ball and Mrs. Geoffrey Morton of Oakland, Calif. One sister, Elsie Hawley, preceded him in death. There are also several nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
