Services for Mrs. J.T. Rogers were held in the First Methodist Church in Graham officiated by Rev. C.E. Wade. In 1857, Mrs. Rogers moved with her parents from Kentucky to Parker County, Texas. In 1875, she married Jesse Thomas Rogers, and about a year after her wedding, she and her husband and parents moved to Stephens County. In 1880, they moved to Young County settling in the Tonk Valley community. They moved to Graham in 1919 to live on Kentucky Street. Mrs. Rogers united with the Methodist Church in 1901 while living in the Tonk Valley community, and lived a devoted life. Survivors include two sisters; one brother; eight children; 35 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
