Maude E. Barbour, 86, of Northridge, Calif., died at 10 p.m. Wednesday at Rinaldi Nursing Home at Granada Hills, Calif.

She was a former resident of Azalia, moving to California in 1979.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hathaway-Myers Funeral Chapel where calling hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Mrs. Barbour was born Sept. 6, 1896, in Bartholomew County, the daughter of Elias and Ida Belle Graham Fodrea. She was married to Harold L. Barbour June 3, 1923, at Columbus, and he died June 25, 1976. She was active in the American Legion Auxiliary and was a member of Knollwood Methodist Church at Granada Hills. She was a former member of Wilson Chapel here.

Survivors include a son, Ross Barbour of Granada Hills; five sisters, Pearl Simpson of Carmel, Gladys Simpson of Syracuse, N.Y., Irene Gannon of Batesville, Grace Fodrea of Franklin, and Mabel Jordan of Texas.
