Gladys R. Simpson, 81, of 320 Cayuga St. died Tuesday at Community-General Hospital.

Mrs. Simpson was a native of Columbus, Ind., and lived in the Syracuse area 65 years. She was employed by Kimber's Auto Supply for 10 years and by Syracuse Cold Storage for 12 years.

Mrs. Simpson was a member of West Genesee United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Otis B.; two sons, Glenn E. Malson of Lincklaen and Charles F. Malson of East Syracuse; a sister, Pearl Simpson of Franklin, Ind.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at John C. Tindall Funeral Home, the Rev. Robert Lucas officiating. Private burial will be at White Chapel Memory Gardens.

Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 1921 W. Genesee St.
