Otis "Jake" Simpson, 94, of Minoa died Thursday at Hallmark Nursing Center, Minoa.
A native of Baldwinsville, Mr. Simpson lived many years on Cayuga Street in Syracuse before recently moving to Minoa. He retired as a foreman after 40 years with O.M. Edwards Co. His wife, Gladys, died in 1990.
Surviving are two step-sons, Charles Malson of East Syracuse and Glenn Malson of DeRuyter; five step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, including Robert Gibbons of Liverpool and Richard Gibbons of Syracuse.
Services will be private. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens.
There will be no calling hours.
Contributions may be made to the activities fund of Hallmark Nursing Center.
