Mrs. Ida Belle Fodrea, 80, died at her home a mile and a half east of Azalia at 5:30 o'clock Thursday evening. husband. She and her husband, Elias Fodrea, who survives, would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this fall.

Funeral rites will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Azalia Friends church, of which she was a member, conducted by Rev. Leslie Bond. Burial will be in Garland Brook cemetery. The casket will be open after 4 o'clock this evening at the Hathaway funeral home, until time to leave for the church.

Mrs. Fodrea was born the eldest child of William S. and Mary Ann Pease Graham on Nov. 20, 1868 In Jefferson county. Early in life she moved to Bartholomew county and was married to Mr. Fodrea Nov. 14, 1889.

Theirs is one of the largest families in this community. Mr. and Mrs. Fodrea celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1939.

A daughter, Mary Mildred Fodrea, died In infancy. Surviving with her husband are their 12 children, William and Charles Fodrea of Azalia, Mrs. Fred Fink, Ladoga, Ind., Miss Bessie Fodrea, Miss Grace Fodrea and Miss Hazel Fodrea, Columbus, Mrs. Harold Barbour, Route 3, Mrs. Lee Flanigan, Greeneastle, Mrs. Francis Jordan, Seymour, Mrs. Robert Simpson, Route 5, Mrs. Jesse Gannon, Batesville, Mrs. Basil Malson, Syracuse, N.Y.; 19 grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Waddle and Mr. Clara Ellis; several nieces and nephews.
