Bio

I'm a Bartholomew Co. Indiana native, a founding member of the local genealogical society, and an avid researcher, both my own lineage as well as maintaining a large database of southern Indiana family information. Always happy to share and do look-ups when I can help.

If you have corrections, additional information or other edits or links to parents, spouses and children, use the edit tab on the memorial, and I'll get them in shortly. Use the "Suggest other corrections" button to send along obits, biographical sketches, or whatever else you'd like added.

Any photos I've added are meant to be freely shared. I try very hard to get good, readable marker images: get up close, shoot when the sun's at best angle, clear the grass, brush and moss away. I carry a bucketful of tools, brushes & a pump sprayer of water whenever I go "grave-yarding!"

A FG system upgrade in 2020 affected the way some photos are displayed--i.e., turned some of them sideways. It has to do with "metadata attached to the image," and don't ask me what that really means. The good news is that ANYONE can correct the errors when they are discovered--just click on the photo, and turn until it gets upright.
