WANATAH -- Services for former Wanatah resident, Mrs. Winfred E. (Emma S.) Graham, 83, of 4922 Oak Ave., Hammond, who died Monday, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Peek Funeral Home with the Rev. William J. Bertsch officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
She was born in Wanatah Feb. 15, 1889, daughter of John and Sophia (Madaus) Werner. She resided in Hammond four years, going there from Valparaiso.
On Oct. 29, 1917 at Wanatah, she was married to Winfred E. Graham, who died July 10, 1951. A son, William, nine brothers, and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Surviving are a sister-in-law, Mrs. Dorothea Werner, Gary, and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
