Mrs. Doris Fenton
Services for Mrs. Doris (Tyler) Fenton, 59, of Prole, a former West Des Moines Resident, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Church with burial at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Orilla.
Mrs Fenton died of cancer Tuesday at the home of a son, Robert Burch in West Des Moines. She had been ill several months.
Born in Des Moines, Mrs. Fenton lived in West Des Moines most of her life. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include six sons, Robert, Wayne, Paul, Joe, Bernard Jr., and Jerry Burch, all of West Des Moines; seven daughters, Mrs. Marjory (Bob) McBurney, Mrs. Betty (Ray) Grabill, Mrs. Ruth (Jerry) Peacock, Mrs. Pauline (George) Legg, Mrs. Dorene (Don) Neal, all of West Des Moines; Mrs. Fran (Leroy) Thompson of Redondo Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Dorothy (Dale) Brown of Tama; three brothers, Melvin, Glen, Paul Tyler, all of West Des Moines; Mrs. Dorthy (Cedric) Reames of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Mrs. Daisy (Glen) Hildreth of Indianola.
Rosaries will be recited at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. today at McClaren's Funeral Home.
