HILDRETH

Daisy J. Hildreth, daughter of Charles and Daisy (Fox) Tyler, was born May 1, 1934 in West Des Moines, Iowa. She passed away April 8, 1993, at the Lucas County Health Center in Chariton, Iowa at the age of 58.

Mrs. Hildreth lived in Des Moines and the surrounding area most of her life until moving to Chariton in 1984. She had been co-owner of S.P.I. Disposal while in Des Moines and of Hildreth Refuse in Chariton.

She is survived by her husband Glen Hildreth Sr. of Chariton, four sons, Glen Jr. of Guerneville, Calif., Gene of Chariton, Marshall of Des Moines and Monte of Norwalk; one daughter, Susan Peterson of Chariton; her sister, Dorothy Reames of Mercer, Mo.; two brothers, Melvin (Bud) Tyler and Glen (Pete) Tyler Sr., both of West Des Moines; and 15 grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed by her family and many, many friends.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 12, at the Fielding Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis St. Lawrence officiating. Burial was in the Chariton Cemetery. Serving as bearers were Glen Tyler Jr., Tom Tyler, Ted Reames, Robert Burch, Chuck Tyler and Laverne Hildreth.
