Marjorie McBurney, 78, passed away February 28, 2016.

Marjorie was born on April 15, 1937 to Doris and Bernard Burch.

She was very active in the lives of her family. Marjorie was a giving, selfless person, she made sure her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews knew how much she cared for them.

She had an eye for fashion and a love of always putting your best self out there. She was a cheerleader for all of her family. If you ever needed a confidence boost you could always turn to her. She would always tell you how wonderful and beautiful you are, and by the end of the visit with her she left you feeling like you could conquer the world. Of course, you would need to do it in the right pair of shoes and with your hair done beautifully.

Holidays and birthdays were always so very special. She loved celebrating with her family and she took on the job of making sure you had the best day ever! She was always up for a trip to the mall, TJ Maxx, and Target. Those were some of her favorites.

She enjoyed going to church and singing and listening to the sermon. The Iowa State Fair was a deep passion of hers. Every child, grandchild, and even several great-grandchildren got to share this passion with her. She loved to sit and listen to the music and enjoy her favorite fair treats.

Marjorie had a special bond with her 12 siblings,
1. Bob Burch
2. Ruth Peacock
3. Fran Thompson
4. Wayne Burch
5. Joe Burch
6. Jerry Burch
7. Betty Grabill
8. Dorothy Brown
9. Pauline Legg
10.Dorene Burch
11.Paul Burch
12.Bernard Burch

Because of that bond, she touched the many lives of their families also.

She was happily married for 40 years to Bob McBurney. Marjorie was loved by so many and was the backbone of our incredibly large family.

She had 8 children,
1.Pearle (Mark) Kruidenier,
