Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Brintlinger's Funeral Home with visitation 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Illini Cemetery.
Mr. Brumett was born in Sommerset, KY., son of William Robert and Burnetta Frances (Neece) Brumett. He was a member of Local 65 steamfitters Union and affiliated with First Christian Church, Decatur. He married Marguerite M. Koons on June 30, 1934. She died in 1967.
Surviving are his sons, Norman O. and Albert L., both of Warrensburg; Lloyd E. of Decatur; sisters, Mrs. Elmer (Bessie) Childers, Mrs. Roy (Bertha) Poe and Mrs. John (Della) Eller, all of Decatur; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
One daughter, one brother and four sisters preceded him in death.
