She married Kenneth Crusius on March 14, 1935 in Indiana. He died on November 1, 1989.
She was a homemaker for many years and took great pride in the beautiful lawn and vegetable and flower gardens at her rural home.
Edna was a member of United Church of Christ, El Paso and a 50 year member of the James Thompson Chapter No. 147 of the Eastern Star, El Paso.
Edna, 93, of 555 E. Clay St., El Paso passed away at 5:25a.m. Monday, October 16, 2006 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, El Paso where she was a resident.
She was preceded in death by her parents, infant grandson, David Paul Key, three brothers, and six sisters.
Survivors include one daughter, Jane Marie Crusius Key of San Antonio, TX; two granddaughters, Stephanie (David) Key Mollenauer of San Antonio, TX; Elizabeth (Garth) Key Fowden of Greece; one great grandson, Gabriel Philip Rhoderick Fowden of Greece. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 21, 2006 at the United Church of Christ, El Paso. Rev. John Libert will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, El Paso.
