COURIER JOURNAL OBITUARY – 09/22/1984
Margaret W. Hill, 65, of 6103 Manse Drive, died Friday [September 21, 1984] at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Cole; a son, Richard Logsdon of El Toro, CA; two sisters, Tresia Bocock of Clarkson and Marie Lush; four brothers, Riley Higdon of Georgetown, IN, Joe Higdon of Middletown, IL, Rex & Henry Higdon; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Clement Catholic Church, 5431 Johnsontown Road, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation at Ratterman's, 4832 Cane Run Road, will be from 2-9 p.m. Sunday and from 1-9 p.m. Monday.

She was born March 7, 1919 and was the daughter of James & Annie Layman Higdon of Oak Grove area of Grayson County. She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Cole; a son Richard Logsdon of El Toro, CA; two sisters, Tresia Bocock of Clarkson and Marie Lush of Louisville; four brothers, Riley Higdon of Georgetown, IN; Joe Higdon of Middletown, IL; Rex & Henry Higdon of Louisville. She was the aunt of Mrs. Dorothy Bratcher. Funeral was at St. Clement Catholic Church on September 25 with burial in the Memorial Gardens West in Louisville.
