Rex J. Higdon, 68, of Louisville, died February 14, 1985 at the East Baptist Hospital. Mr. Higdon was born April, 1916 in the Oak Grove community, in Grayson County, the son of James and Annie Layman Higdon. He was a retired press operator for the old Fawcett-Dearing Printing Co., where he worked for 30 years. He was also an Army Veteran of World War II. Survivors include: three brothers, Riley of Georgetown, Ind., Joe of Middletown, Ill., and Henry Higdon of Louisville; two sisters, Tresia Bocock of Clarkson and Marie Lush of Louisville. He was the uncle of Dorothy Bratcher and Jerome Bocock of Leitchfield. Funeral services were held February 16 at the Russman and Son Funeral Home, with burial in the Evergreen Mausoleum in Louisville.

REX J. HIGDON, 68, of 2519 Wallace Ave., died Thursday at Baptist Hospital East. He was a native of Grayson County and a retired press operator for the old Fawcett-Dearing Printing Co., where he worked 30 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include three brothers, Riley Higdon of Georgetown, Ind., Joe Higdon of Middletown, IL., and Henry A Higdon; and two sisters, Tresia Bocock of Clarkson and Marie Lush. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Russman & Son Funeral Home, 1041 Goss Ave., with entombment in Evergreen Mausoleum. Visitation at the funeral home will be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday.
