Harm Kelly Long was born in June of 1846 in Lawrence County, Alabama to Henry Long and Elizabeth Long. ~ He first married Elizabeth Woodall. ~ The children of Harm and Elizabeth Long are Eugene Columbus "Lum" Long, Augusta Ann "Gussie" Hill, Mary E. Roberts, Robert Luther Long, James R. Long, Charles Walter Long, Sr., and Wheeler Nimwood Long. ~ After the death of his first wife, Mr. Long married Salley Elizabeth Southern, a daughter of James Warren Southern and Clarissa Ellen Irwin Southern on Sunday, August 5, 1900 in Lawrence County, Alabama. ~ The children of Harm and Salley Long are Ernest L. Long, William Robert Long, William Ervin Long, Marvin Jarrett Long and Emily Callahan. ~ Message from steve long:
