CLEAR CREEK, UTAH-Norma Jenkins Campbell, 97, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at her home in Clear Creek, Box Elder County, UT of Causes Incident to Age.






She was born November 7, 1910 to William Evan and Lena Weber Jenkins in Freedom, WY and spent her growing-up years there.Norma was the fourth of seven children. She married Duane Campbell August 10, 1942 and spent the rest of a long life on their place in Clear Creek, Utah. Duane died December 26, 1975. She loved animals and farming, and taught school for many years in Box Elder County and in Star Valley, Wyoming. Norma liked to cook and was very good at it. She graduated from Utah State University. She served a mission for the LDS Church in the Northwestern States, including Seattle, Portland and the surrounding area. She served in many callings in the LDS Church including temple worker in the Logan Temple.






Norma was preceded in death by her husband, parents and sisters: Myra Jenkins and Edith Romney of SLC; Alice Hamilton of Smithfield; Elmina Haderlie of Logan; and her one brother, Evan Jenkins of Freedom, Wyoming. Surviving are a daughter, Kay Oman of Garland; a son, Mont (CoraLee) Campbell of Clear Creek; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister and brother-in-law, June and Milo Bosshardt of Redmond, UT.






Funeral Services will be held 12:00 noon Saturday, April 12, 2008 at Malta, Idaho LDS Chapel. A Viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2008 at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton, Utah and Saturday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Church.
Interment at the Clear Creek Cemetery.
