Following information submitted by Carol Stevens:

Myra Aurella Jenkins, 92, died in Salt Lake City, UT on June 17, 1995 of natural
causes.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 22, 1995 at 1 p.m. in the Freedom Ward
chapel, Freedom
She was born Oct 26, 1902 in Freedom WY, a daughter of William Evana and Lena Weber
Jenkins. She attended Star Valley High School and graduated at the top of her
class. She graduated form Henager's Business College in Salt Lake City, the only
one in her class to get 100% on all of her tests. In 1929 she moved to Los Angeles
where she lived until moving to Salt Lake City in April 1992.
She was devoted and active member of the LDS Church serving a full-time mission in
the Northern States mission, serving as secretary in the Sunday School on both ward
and stake levels and as a temple worker in the Los Angeles Temple. She enjoyed
traveling, seeing new places and always maintained an interest in others which kept
her young. She was a positive influence in the lives of many and was dearly beloved
by her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by three sisters, Norma Campbell, Naf, ID; Elmina Haderlie, Logan;
June Bosshardt, Redmond, UT; a sister-in-law Wilma Hale, Afton, numerous nieces and
nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Charles Evan Jenkins and two
sisters, Alice Hamilton and Edyth Romney.
