Elizabeth Gould More, born 17 August 1853 at Walton, New York the eldest of six children to Hezekiah More and Mary Harriet Alverson More, was a direct descendant of John and Betty More's David line. She was raised at Walton where her father was the owner and operator of a farm. Elizabeth was a teacher before she married to Ebenezer Danforth Cumming on 13 October 1881 at Walton. They made their home first at Walton and, about 1910, relocated to Deposit, New York where her husband was a lawyer and president of Farmer's National Bank. Elizabeth died suddenly at her home on 10 November 1935 and was buried at Laurel Hill Cemetery at Deposit. Elizabeth and Ebenezer were the parents of one child, Lucy Elizabeth Cumming.
