Mrs. Margaret M. Smith

Death entered the home of George Smith of No. 1023 Sherman avenue last Sunday and removed the wife and mother. Mrs. Margaret M. Smith.

The deceased had been struck by a street car near her home over a year ago and had never fully recovered from her injuries and the shock. Her head was badly cut at the time, but whether this was the direct cause of death is not known. Mrs Smith was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Sheib and was born in this county 60 years and 10 months ago. She had spent practically her entire life in the county and for some time past had been a resident of Duquesne. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic church and the funeral took place from that church yesterday morning. Interment was made in St. Agnes cemetery.

Mrs Smith is survived by her husband, eight children and 17 grandchildren. The children are: Mrs. Mary A. Barnes of Duquesne, Mrs. Agnes Gluck of Homestead, Mrs. Evaline Jones of Duquesne, Misses Margaret and Cecelia Smith at home, and Peter, George and Joseph Smith all of this place.
