John P. Rohr, formerly of 410 E. 19, died Friday evening at the Ellis Good Samaritan Home. He was a retired farmer and carpenter.
Surviving are five sons; Isidore, Gene, and Julius, all of Hays, Ig, Seattle, Wash., and Alex, San Diego, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Albinus Befort, Denver, Colo., Mrs. Marcellus Ruder, Pecos, Tex., and Mrs. Ralph Engel, Hays; two brothers, Peter, Victoria, Lawrence, Hays; one sister, Mrs. Harold Fogerson, Hammond, Ind.; 31 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Munjor. There will be a parish wake service at 8 p.m. Sunday at Brock's North Hill Chapel. Friends may call at the chapel until service time.
