Lawrence P. Rohr, 79, died Friday, Sept. 21 at Canterbury Villa, Hays. He was born Dec. 7, 1899 at Munjor, the son of Peter and Elizabeth (Sander) Rohr.

He married Katherine Doerfler, June 22, 1920 at Munjor.

He was a retired miller and farmer. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Surviving: his wife of the home; seven sons, Elmer of Goodland, Gilbert of Salina, Floyd of Hays, Walter of Orange Park, Fla., Vernon of Wichita, Father Vincent of Kansas City, Mo., and LeRoy of New Jersey; three daughters, Mrs. Victor (Minnie) Zimmerman of Denver [his sister's daughter, Anna Margaret (Rohr) Doerfler, she died in 1923], Mrs. Edwin (Esther) Ruder and Mrs. Leonard (Ruth) Pfeifer, both of Hays; one sister, Mrs. Harold (Rose) Fergerson of Hammond, Ind.; 22 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren.

The funeral was at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Church. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery.
