He was born Feb. 19, 1917 in Wallsburg to Forrest Dell and Annie Mecham Farley. He married Annie Foncet Jensen on June 27, 1940 in Provo. She died April 13, 1962.
He was a member of the LDS Church in the Pleasant Grove 15th Ward. He had worked in the CCC camps during the depression and later in the aircraft industry. He retired from Geneva Works in 1977 following 30 years of service. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Pleasant Grove.
Survivors include two sons and four daughters, Mrs. Vern (Marie) Nicholes and Janet Bulter, both of American Fork; Mrs. Lewis (LouAnn) Arnold, Helper; Mrs. Clifton (Darlene) Hazel, Heber City; William R. Farley, Orem; Curtis Albert Farley, Spring Lake, N.C.: 26 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three brothers and one sister, Blaine Farley and Mrs. Maybelle Chapman, both of Orem; Roy Farley, American Fork and Earl Farley, Castle Dale.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Olpin Family Mortuary in Pleasant Grove where friends may call Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
