Forest Lewis Farley, 86, of Orem died of causes incident to his age, Wednesday, Jan 5, 1977 at Utah Valley Care Center, Provo.

He was born in Bedford, Ky, Jan 17, 1890, to John Wesley and Nancy Alice Stone Farley. He married Annie Mecham on July 23, 1913, in Wallsburg. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died June 9, 1960.

He moved to Utah at age 17 where he was involved in farming and construction work. He was a member of the LDS Church serving as a home teacher.

Survivors include four sons and a daughter, Blaine W. Farley, Mrs. MayBell Chapman, both Orem, Rex A Farley, Pleasant Grove, Roy F. Farley, American fork, Earl L. Farley, Castle Dale, Emery County; 35 grandchildren, 96 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, two brothers and three sister, John Farley, Mrs. Clara Penrod, both Provo, Curtis Farley, Kentucky, Mrs. Hallie Miller, Mrs. Lucy Browning both Indianapolis, In, one son died in Iwo Jima.

A funeral is scheduled Saturday at 11 a.m. at Berg Mortuary, Provo where friends may call Friday between 6 an 8 p.m. and Saturday prior to the service. Burial will be in Wallsburg Cemetery.
