Walter Claude Haire 70 , died monday ,feb.11,2008 at the Golden Living Center in Eupora .He was born june 20, 1937 ,in calhoun city . he was a retied farmer ;a preacher , and a member of the Lord Jesus Christ Church in Vardaman. Sevices will be at 2p.m. Saturday at the Lord Jesus Christ Church in Vardaman.The Rev. Billy Patterson will officiate ,and the Rev. Keith Spratlin and Rev. Robert Earl Alexander will assist.Burial will be in Rocky Mount Cemetery in Bruce .Parker Memorial Funeral Home of is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include four daughters;Carol Smith of Houston,Rockie Neveln of Marionvell,mo.,and Emma Haire and Twilene Tutor both of Calhoun City;three son ;Joe Haire and David Haire, both of Houlka ,and Walter G. Haire of Vardaman and one brother,Sherman Haire of Vardaman, one sister,Lou Beckham of Houston;24 grandchildren 14 great -grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents William F. Haire and Mattie Lene Moore Haire and Martha A.Haire on sept.11,2004 and two children, Mattie Shack and Jimmy Haire.
Pallbears will be Merrill Russell,James Tutor ,Billy Tutor,Jimmy Tutor,Cody Tutor,Eric William Tutor.
visitation will be from 2 to 8p.m. thursday and from 4 to 8p.m friday at the home
