MARTHA HAIRE
Martha Ann Skeen Haire, 61, of Vardaman, Miss., died Saturday, September 11, 2004 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Miss., Lee County. She was born May 29, 1943 in Houston, Miss., Chickasaw County, the daughter of Joe Skeen and Fannie Mae Kimbrough Skeen. She was a homemaker and a member of The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Vardaman, Miss.
Funeral service was Tuesday at 2 p.m. at The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ with Bro. Billy Patterson and Bro. Keith Spratlin officiating. Burial was in Rocky Mount Cemetery in Calhoun County. Pallbearers were Tracy Black, Ben Galloway, Steve Harris, John Baily, Otha Voyler and Michael Haire.
Survivors include her husband, Walter C. Haire, Sr., Vardaman, Miss.; five daughters, Mattie Shack, Memphis, Tenn.; Carol Smith, Houston, Miss.; Rockie Neveln, Maryville, Mo.; Emma Haire Russell, Vardaman, Miss.; Twilene Tutor, calhoun City, Miss.; five sons, Jasper Lewis Skeen, Conroe, Texas; Joe Haire, Houlka, Miss.; Walter Greenberry haire, Vardaman, Miss.; David Haire, Houlka, Miss; Jessie Haire, Vardaman, Miss.; two sisters, Josie Weaver, Ellisville, Miss.; Emma Hamblin, Houston, Miss.; two brothers, Jimmy Skeen, Columbia, Miss.; John Skeen, Water Valley, Miss.; 25 grandchildren, seven step grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and seven step great grandchildren.
