LETHA IRENE MARTIN, young daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Martin, near Midvale, died this morning at 7:15 o'clock at the home of her parents from a complication of diseases, aged 6 years, 7 months and 27 days.
Some months ago the child developed gangrene hemorrhage of the heart which seriously infected her right limb. On December 31 an operation was performed in which the limb was amputated below the knee. For the following weeks her condition seemed to improve until six weeks ago when she suffered a relapse and steadily grew weaker.
Surviving besides her parents are two brothers and one sister all at home who are Gilbert, LeRoy and Leone Martin.
Funeral services will be held Saturday conducted by Rev. J. E. Guy. Interment in Harbaugh Reformed cemetery.
